Certified Veterinary Technician - Full Time

We currently have an opening for a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician. If you enjoy customer service and working with animals, then we encourage you to apply with Northside Pet Hospital! Hours include 9 hour shifts, four days a week, with rotating Saturdays and On-Call shifts. Our full time Certified Veterinary Technicians can expect to work 36-40 hours per week. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Description:

-Record and update patient information
- Assist the Veterinarians with exams and surgeries
- Collect specimens and perform routine laboratory procedures
- Educate clients about preventative care, and discuss needed treatment plans
- Administer medications and injections
- Schedule appointments and create invoices
- Perform dental cleanings
- Initiate emergency procedures and restrain animals as needed
- Animal Care

Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be certified to practice as a Veterinary Technician in the state of WI
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and stand for the majority of shift

Associate Veterinarian – Part Time/Full Time

Northside Pet Hospital has an opening for a PT/FT Associate Veterinarian in our growing, progressive practice located in Eau Claire, WI. Eau Claire is a beautiful city that offers bike trails, parks, dining, a farmers market, art, music, and a great downtown area. Located just an hour and a half away from Minneapolis, MN.

We are a full service, small animal clinic. Patients include cats, dogs, avian, and exotics. Our office is expanding, and we are looking for a positive, hard-working colleague to join our 3 Veterinarian practice. Northside Pet Hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser surgery, digital dental radiography, and rehabilitation services. Job Description:
-Examine a variety of animals using ethical practices, while providing quality care.
-Perform surgeries, and treat sick or injured animals using standard medical equipment.
-Educate the clients about preventative care, and provide home-care instructions for needed medications.
-Document actions by completing/maintaining client reports, logs and patient records.

Job Requirements:
-Must have DVM and be eligible for Wisconsin Veterinary License
-Have availability to work rotating on-call emergency schedule, as well as rotating Saturdays
