Dr. Doris Durst grew up on a dairy farm near Richland Center in southwestern Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-River Falls with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Durst lives near Lake Wissota with her husband and an array of animals. They have two horses, Marshal (24) and Shadow (30), Isobel, a five year old Golden Retriever, and a five year old cat named Cheeto. She also enjoys going on hikes with her dog as well as reading and listening to opera.
